Christine Ann Verhoeven was born in England and lived in Germany before moving to Colorado. Christine is a multifaceted artist, working in photography, jewelry metalsmithing, installation, and performance. The complex relationship between nature and humans is explored through identity, place, and time. In 2015, Christine received her Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in Photography, an emphasis in jewelry metalsmithing and art history from Metropolitan State University of Denver. Christine has exhibited work throughout Denver, including the Center for Visual Arts, Republic Plaza, Emmanuel Gallery, Westword's Artopia 2016, and has been published in reproduction-based media magazine, The Hand.
